Kendra Gayle Lee

Content Creation

Kendra has been enamored with words since she was a kid. As an adult, she’s directed her logophile tendencies toward crafting clear and engaging copy that tells a story. She’s wooed companies with her stellar speechwriting and created engaging white papers. Basically, she’s word magic.

Kendra believes that, like people, products & ideas have stories that need to be told. And it takes an expert writer to make those stories and ideas come alive.
Kendra is an expert storyteller.

Sarah Price

Principal + Point Guard

With 10 years of experience in the marketing trenches as a paper pusher, and then a project manager, and then a client relationship wunderkind at various Atlanta agencies, Sarah eventually found herself loving life as an independent. She was able to put her growing family first and share her warmth and dexterity with clients who appreciated it, and creatives who mirrored it.

She had a crazy idea… She wanted to focus her efforts and experience on working with clients who “get it” and creatives who get it done.

Over the years, Sarah had worked with so many talented illustrators, branding experts, artists, designers, and writers. The ones she loved working with all had the same attitude as her: They wanted to do good, honest work in a professional but engaging way. And they wanted to work with other people who felt the same. So, Sarah took that crazy idea and created The Eddy, a virtual agency staffed with brilliant contractors who have proven they can succeed on their own, but who enjoy succeeding with each other.

On being a virtual, voluntary team, and the
importance of being able to sleep at night.

  • Sleep (Well)

The Eddy works because we all work hard.

When I started The Eddy, it was because I wanted to spend my time working with the best, the brightest, and the most tried-and-true creative minds in the business. After years in this industry, I found that my work was most satisfying and exciting when my colleagues were just as enthusiastic, innovative, and driven as I am.

The virtual agency model allows our group of independent, hand-picked creators to collaborate under a team umbrella whenever they want. We’ve each been working independently for years and we know how to self-direct, self-start, and hit deadlines. We’re also just regular, decent people who care—about what we make, about each other, about our clients, and the world.

Our à la carte approach allows us to thoughtfully pair the right talent with the right project. Our clients know they aren’t paying to keep anyone’s lights on; they pay for great work from great people who make a living by listening and innovating.
